Annie Mae Webb, age 75, of 2702 Whitehall Ave., died Sunday, June 8, 2008, at the Rainey Hospice House.Born January 23, 1933, in Habersham, GA., she was the daughter of the late William and Myrtle Free Addis. She retired from Singer Company. After her retirement, she loved sitting with the elderly and Alzheimer's patients and also loved working with her friends at Whitten's Nursery and Garden Center. She was a member of North Anderson Baptist Church where she attended The Ruth Sunday School class.She is survived by her sons, Steve Webb and his wife, Donna of Anderson, Mike Webb of the home, and Rick Webb and his wife Peggy of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Oscar Addis of Townville and Thomas Ronnie Addis of Anderson; two sisters, Mary Freeman and Vernie Patterson, both of Anderson and five grandchildren; Amber, Ricky, Drew, Ryan and Austin Webb all of Pennsylvania.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant son William Cecil Webb; a brother, Boots Addis and a sister, Loriane Addis.A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at 4:00 PM at New Silverbrook Cemetery officiated by Reverend Larry Whitlock. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are accepted, however, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
