Carroll Anson Morgan, age 91, of Anderson, died on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Iva, on May 11, 1924, he was the son of the late John Reese and Zeola Kelly Morgan. He was a member of Union Baptist Church. Mr. Morgan was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Duke Power Co. after 36 years of service. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sylvene Morgan; daughter, Brenda Morgan; brother, John R. Morgan, Jr. of Charleston, SC; a number of nieces and nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Manning. A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Reverend Bob Marcaurelle officiating. The family will be at the residence.
