Archie Means Cochran, Jr., age 84, husband of Sue Fleming Cochran, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2023 at AnMed Medical Center.

Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Archie Means Cochran, Sr. and Maggie Lucille Pruitt Cochran. He was a life-long member of Central Presbyterian Church of Anderson. Archie graduated from "Frog" Reames "Old Boys High" and was a 1963 graduate of Clemson College. Archie spent over 35 enjoyable years as an accountant in the Textile Industry.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, William Cass Cochran, Gregory Means Cochran, Mark Stephen Dickerson (Gwen), and Angela Dickerson Reeves (Randy). He is also survived by a brother, John B. Cochran (Holly) of Boston, MA. Grandchildren include Nichole Cochran, Annie Duncan (Kodi), Bart Reeves (Katherine), Grant Reeves (Mollie), Morgan Reeves, Marcus Dickerson (Johnnie), and Ashley Davis (Russell), and eleven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A private family committal will be held at Old Silver Brook Cemetery.
