Arlene Szarek, 80 of Anderson, SC passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her home. Born April 29, 1937 in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late George Musgrave and the late Julia Zymroz Musgrave. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Szarek and son, Joseph Szarek, Jr. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the VFW. She is survived by her children, Joann Lepre and Michael Szarek (Colleen); 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. A private family committal service will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
