Arthur Glenn Fortner Anderson, SC Arthur Glenn Fortner, age 76, of Anderson, SC, passed away on June 19, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Ebb Fortner and the late Exie Dunn Fortner. He was the owner of Good'O's Restaurant in Anderson. Glenn was an avid golfer, and charter member of Pine Lake. He loved his church, Grace Memorial Baptist, and he loved his family, as well as his many, many friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Debra Register Fortner; three sons, Anthony "Tony" Glenn Fortner, and Tommy Ray Fortner, and his wife Cathy, all of Anderson, and Randy S. Crawford and his wife, Christie, of Iva; a daughter, Jerie Stone, and her husband Ragan, of Anderson; sisters, Esther Von Edwins, of Meridian, MS and Joann Chasteen and her husband Rev. Sam, of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Christopher Ray Fortner, Chelsie Ann Fortner, Mereidth Leigh Fortner, Gabe Crawford, Garrett Stone, Cohen Stone, Kinleigh Crawford, Khloe Crawford; Glenn was preceded in death by one grandchild, Brittany Marie "Baby Girl" Fortner, whom he cherished dearly; he is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Ans-Lee Fortner, Hunter Fortner, Preston Fortner, Torin Fortner and Grayson Fortner. In addition to his parents and his granddaughter, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Ann Fortner; brothers, Reverend Freeman Fortner, Robert Fortner, J.B. Fortner, and Houston Fortner; and sisters, Venice Addison, Mildred Bell, and Vera Hart. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Dickson and Reverend Billy Whitfield officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
