Arthur Murry Loftis, age 92, of Iva, SC, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born August 22, 1928, in Iva, he was the son of the late James W. Loftis and Genevieve Purdy Loftis. After graduating from Iva High School where he was recognized for 12 years of perfect attendance, he began a lifelong career working as a dairy farmer and row farmer. He was a dedicated lifelong member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and faithful caregiver for many years, Kaleta Din. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 19, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Sunday, June 20, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Iva City Cemetery with Pastor Rick Summerville officiating. The family will be at their respective homes.
