CROMER April 17, 1924 - May 10, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. Aubrey Meredith Cromer, age 82, husband of Mollie Jones Cromer formerly of West Standridge Road, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on April 17, 1924, Mr. Cromer was a son of the late Jeff Cromer and Ella Meredith Cromer. He was retired from J. P. Stevens Company, Appleton Mill with 40 years of service and had served in the United States Navy. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mollie Jones Cromer; daughters, Pat Gurley and Mary Saylors, both of Anderson; sons, Eugene Cromer and Gary Cromer, both of Anderson; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel officiated by the Reverend Delano McMinn. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 12, 2006 from 6-8 pm.
