Aubrey Lee Fowler, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC, on December 21, 1931, he was the son of the late Lawrence William Fowler and the late Mae Lee Phillips Fowler. He retired from Duke Power after 20 years of service. He was a mason and life-long member of the Hiram Lodge, a member of Anderson York Rite, and Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a wonderful husband, daddy, and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Frankie Burden Fowler; a daughter, Pamela Fowler Newman and her husband, Robbie, of Camden, SC; one sister, Geraldine Powers, of Denison, TX; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Reverend Lawrence Fowler; and a sister, Thelma Allen. The Graveside service with Masonic Rites will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015, at New Silver Brook Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Brent Lollis and Mr. Harry Osborne officiating. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
