Audra Mae Dickson Owens, age 98, of Anderson, SC, loving wife to the late Arnold B. Owens, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at NHC HealthCare, Anderson. Born October 26, 1923, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Eddie Arthur Dickson and Omie Mae Byrum Dickson. Audra worked at J.P. Stevens as a packer in the Clemson Plant where she later retired. She was a member of Barnette Grove Church. She is survived by her sons, Danny Owens (Charlotte), and Doug Owens (Ann); sister, Leeotis Clark; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, and devoted husband Arnold, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Dickson, Arthur Dickson, and Duel Dickson; and sister, Ruby Nell Childress. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Clemson, SC.
