Austin Phillip Smith, 13, of Williamston, SC, passed away Monday, March 30, 2020. Austin was a 7th grader at Palmetto Middle School. Austin was a very kind and thoughtful young man. He always believed in being generous and showing love. He loved animals and his favorite hobby was playing Fortnite on his Xbox. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding with his dad and cuddling with his mom and dogs. Austin enjoyed going to the mountains and the beach. He is survived by his parents, Mark Alan Smith (Cassana Queen) and Christine Smith (Mike Davis); grandfather, Phil Smith of Kountze, TX; Susan Smith of Rainelle, WV; uncles, James Smith (Kelly) of Anderson, SC, Chris Smith of Anderson, SC and Daniel Smith of Rainelle, WV; and aunts, Lilla Boggess (Norman) of Gap Mill, WV and Melanie Argyrakis (John) of White Sulphur Springs, WV. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Jimmy and Beverly Smith; great-grandmother, Vonora Spade; and uncle, Kerry Smith. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 11:00 am at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Chris Huff officiating.
