She retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas with over 30 years of service. She also worked with Country Heritage Nursing Home and for Green Thumbs Cleaning Service at the Anderson County YMCA. She was of the Baptist faith.Survivors include her son, Mike Govin and his wife Amy of Anderson; daughters, Sandra Duncan and her husband Harold, Connie Sanders and Cindy Young and her husband, Donny all from Anderson; brother, Raymond Miller of Anderson; sister, Josie Blume of Anderson; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.Mrs. Govin was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Govin; a daughter, Toni Barnes; brothers, Lee and James Miller and sister; Elsie Blume.A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 2:00pm at South Lawn Memorial Gardens, Anderson, SC with the Reverend Thad Elliot, Sister Rosie Duncan and Reverend Roger Whitlock officiating.The family will be at the residence, 3117 Old Williamston Road, Anderson and at the home of Sandra Duncan, 700 Simpson Road, Apartment 2-C, Anderson, SC.A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visiting www.mcdougaldfuneralhome.comThe McDougald Funeral Home.
