FREEMAN August 16, 1933 - June 20, 2006EASLEY, SCMr. Azel Marion Freeman, age 72, of 124 Pisgah Road, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at his residence.Born in Franklin County, GA on August 16, 1933, Mr. Freeman was a son of the late William Tucker Freeman and Josephine Ray Freeman. He was retired from Daniel Construction and was a family man and loving father of the Pentecostal Faith.He is survived by May Freeman, a loving wife of thirty eight years; daughters, Pamela Feldman of Norwich, New York, Cynthia F. Kimbrell of Iva, SC, Sandy Moran of Travelers Rest, SC and Lisa F. Lesley of Easley, SC; twin-brother, Azel Mack Freeman of Orangeburg, SC; sisters, Ruth Payne and Rachel Harris, both of Anderson, SC; six grandchildren, Carey Morse of Dolgeville, NY, Aaron Kimbrell of Little Falls, NY, Stephanie Paschal of Pickens, SC, Amanda Waldrop of Travelers Rest, SC, Chad Leslie of Liberty, SC and Tyler Lesley of Easley, SC; four great-grandchildren. Special friend and caregiver, Joan Ray of Easley, SC also survives.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Cummings Taylor, Cora Karr, Evie Adams and Betty Jo Brock.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Russell Elder. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
