Barbara Jean Clinkscales Aboualy, age 70, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born September 6, 1955, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Harold S. Clinkscales and Joanne Smith Clinkscales. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold S. "Clinky" Clinkscales, Jr.

Barbara was retired from Oppermann Webbing and attended Gethsemane Baptist Temple. She loved the outdoors and working in her flower garden. She was a hard worker who always had to stay busy. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Dawkins (Steve) and Judy Burdette (Jeff); brother, Brian Clinkscales (Jennifer); sisters, Rosalyn Price (Lee), Suzanne Hendrix (John), and Angela Moore (Ronald); sister-in-law, Rita Clinkscales; grandchildren, Joseph Dawkins, Kyle Dawkins, Alyssa Dawkins, Jeremiah Burdette, and Khloey Burdette; and great grandchildren, Emmie, J.R., and Briggs.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 12:30-1:30 pm at Gethsemane Baptist Temple. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Starr Baptist Church Cemetery.
