Barbara Ann Storey Badders, age 86, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Waycross, GA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph William Storey and the late Willa Lucille Lanier Storey. She retired from J.C. Penney as a switchboard operator and secretary. Badders, of Elgin, SC; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dr. Fred and Sue Badders; two nieces, Kimberly Sundt and Leigh Lyall; one nephew, Mike Storey (Ursula); two very dear friends, Phyllis Clowers, and Glenda Welborn; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her dedicated care-giver and "honorary" daughter, Debbie Foster; and her other "honorary" daughters Jodi Miller, Mindy Romosca, and B.J. Tiller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hurley E. Badders; one brother, William "Bill" Storey; and one niece, Sharon S. Brown.
