Barbara McCall Bennett, age 85, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021, at her home. Born February 13, 1936, in Charlotte, NC, she was a daughter of the late Cyrus Taylor McCall and Mary Jennings McCall. She was married for 55 years to Frank A. Bennett until his death in August 2013. Barbara was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Boyce "Ace" McCall and Oren McCall; and sisters, Margaret Bostick, Jean Kiser, Harriet Young, Mary Ann Reep, and Sarah Blythe. Barbara was retired from Phillips Petroleum Company. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving in community outreach ministries and was a former member of the Good News Sunday School Class. She is survived by her sons Dan Bennett of Anderson, SC, and Frank Brian Bennett and his wife Teresa of Eureka Springs, AR; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends who loved her dearly. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 1:00-2:00 pm at New Prospect Baptist Church. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
