Barbara Webb Bowman, age 97, of Anderson, SC, loving wife to the late Zannie E. Bowman for over 60 years, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 3, 2023, at NHC Healthcare, Anderson. Born March 18, 1925, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Dudley Hampton Webb and Bessie King Webb. Barbara was an avid fisherman, loved to fish and camp with her husband and proudly drove the family motorhome on many adventures. She was a faithful member of Covenant Baptist Church. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Henry L. Webb; and sisters, Frances McClellan and Marilyn Jones. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Steve Silvey officiating. Burial will follow at New Prospect Church Cemetery.
