BARBARA BROWN November 21, 1932 - February 21, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Barbara Jean Evans Brown, age 74, formerly of Anderson and Belton, SC, passed away, Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Ellenburg Nursing Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on November 21, 1932, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Clyde Evans and Maudell Banks Evans. She was a member of the First Baptist Church or Anderson and was retired from Wamsutta Mills with 25 years of service.She is survived by three sons, Phillip Porter of Vienna, GA, Gene Porter of High Springs, FL and Bruce Porter of Fort Anne, New York; four grandchildren including, Marc Smith of Anderson, SC, Ami Smith Shaw of Belton, SC; three great-grandchildren, Kayla Shaw Justin Shaw and Jaden Martin of Belton, SC.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marti Smith and two sisters, Clydis Brown and Sue Morgan.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Belton Rescue Squad, 14515 Highway 20, Belton, SC 29627.The family will be at the home of her granddaughter, Ami S.
