BURGINS OCTOBER 25, 1924 - JULY 6, 2012 ANDESON, SC - Barbara Christine O'Conner Burgins, age 87 of 1304 McLees Road, Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Cottingham Hospice House. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Frank O'Conner and the late Elanor Wiley O'Conner. She was the wife of the late Robert S. Burgins, Jr. Mrs. Burgins enjoyed traveling, reading and playing tennis. Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Scott Burgins and his wife Andrea of Bloomington, IN; 4 daughters, Joan Burgins of Atlanta, GA, Kara Jamry of Asheville, NC, Shelley Burgins of Pendleton, SC and Lynne Hafer and her husband Mark of Simpsonville, SC; 3 grandchildren, Hannah Murray, Dalton Hafer and Jesse Hafer. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Burgins will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Peace Congregational Church in Clemson, SC.
