Barbara Brown Gannaway, age 67, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at her home. Born June 13, 1956, in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Milton Brown, Sr. and Joyce Helen Jones Mccartt. She was married to Stephen D. Gannaway until his death on July 17, 2023. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Milton Brown, Jr.; and a sister, Patricia Joyce Hughes. Barbara was formerly a flight attendant for US Air. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her sisters, Deborah Mann of Anderson, SC, and Vivian Morgan of Honea Path, SC; stepchildren, Stephen Deaton Gannaway (Kathy), Heather Alexander (Chris), and Caroline Anderson; and 5 step-grandchildren.
