Barbara Jane Gentry Gray, 56, of Anderson, SC, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019. Born June 8, 1963 in Anderson, she was a daughter of Ophelia Davis Gentry and the late James Oneal Gentry. Barbara worked for a short time in textiles at Haynesworth Mill, but presently, was disabled. She enjoyed life and family was very important to her. She is survived her son, Chad Gentry (Melissa); brothers, Jimmy and Tony Gentry; sisters, Joanne Richey and Kathy Hamby; grandchildren, Hope Gentry, Hanna Gentry and Haleigh Gentry; goddaughter, Tiffany Holcombe; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday, October 3, 2019 at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 4th at 12:00pm in South Lawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Flowers will be accepted.
