Barbara Kandel Anderson, SC Barbara "Barb" Lipinski Kandel, age 72, of Anderson, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014, at National Health Care of Anderson. Born in Cleveland, OH on August 3, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William Michael Lipinski and Clara Francis Bielicki Lipinski. She graduated from the Cleveland, OH High School and later graduated from Kent State University. She worked for many years as a supervisor in the cafeteria of the North Canton, OH school system. In 2006, her and her husband, James Alan Kandel retired and moved to Anderson, SC. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Debbie Kandel, of Akron, OH and Jeff Kandel and his son Davis, of Anderson, SC; and three brothers, Bill Lipinski, of Roswell, GA, Michael Lipinski and James Lipinski, both of Cleveland, OH. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
