Barbara "Babs" T. Martin, 83, of Belton, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born December 3, 1934 in Anderson, SC she was a daughter of the late, Raymond Taylor and the late Edna Burton Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Alexander Martin, Jr.; her son, Billy Hong and her sister, Judy Sargent. Barbara was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service and was a longtime member of North Anderson Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Gregg Martin (Cheryl) of Kingman, Arizona, Alex Martin (Lynne) and Tim Martin all of Anderson, SC; daughter-in-law, Joy Kim (Henry); sister, Brenda Swinford; seven grandchildren, Uny Carter, Billy Hong, Jr., Allison Fleming, Andrea Gibbes, David Martin, Zach Martin and Catie Martin and sixteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am-12:30 pm Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery.
