BARBARA MARIE NICHOLS September 4, 1939 - May 19, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Barbara Marie Nichols, age 73, of Anderson, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in New Bedford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Harold Price and the late Nellie Jackson Price. She was a child of God who loved Bible study. She enjoyed reading, music and painting. Barbara was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. She is survived by her son, Wayne and his wife Lori Nichols of Linden, NC, a son-in-law, Gerald Whitfield; her daughters, Linda and her husband Jack Reece of Commerce,GA, Joanne Franks of Anderson, Carolyn and her husband Russ Weekley of Lilburn, GA and Marcy and her husband Chris Moore of Simpsonville, SC; a sister, Diane Adams of Nashua, NH; grandchildren, Lori Engram, Malaya Reece, Dana Reece, Mitchell Franks, Jessica Nichols, Nathan Franks, Rachel Nichols, Joshua Roberts, Rebekah Roberts, Morgan Weekley, Amanda Weekley, Samantha Reece, Abby Moore, Nick Moore, Hannah Weekley, Olivia Moore; and great-grandchildren, Lori Catherine Engram, Hayes Engram, Isaiah Washington, D.J. Alford and Emani Alford; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Nichols; a daughter, Pam Whitfield; and two brothers, Jack and Harold Price. The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Grace Episcopal Church with The Reverend Jack Hardaway officiating. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
