Barbara June Rehrig Ragsdale, age 88, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born July 7, 1935, in Pfiefers Corners, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond C. Rehrig and Florence C. Smith Rehrig. She was married to William "Bill" Eugene Ragsdale until his death in 2008. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Kevin W. Clites and Miles E. Andreas; a daughter, Theresa M. Kern; a grandson, Miles Andreas; brother, Raymond Rehrig; and 7 sisters, Eva Deakyne, Alice Knight, Cheryl Thompson, Florence Magulok, Lyda Romanok, and Carolyn L. Bailey.

Barbara was a waitress for many years working at various local restaurants. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and baking. She always put her family above everything else and loved nothing more than caring for them. She was a member of the American Legion, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose, the Eagles Auxiliary, and Northlake Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Wilma J. Sterling; sons, Maynard Kern and Kenneth A. Clites; sister, Mae Evans; and 9 grandchildren.
