Barbara Jean Wilson Sanderson, age 85, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at her home with her family by her side. Born November 25, 1935, in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late George and Louise Mitchell Wilson. She was married to the late James Sanderson. She was a member of Broadway Lake Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Vickery (Tim) of Anderson; grandchildren, Travis Vickery (Samantha), Tyler Vickery, and Jaxson Vickery all of Anderson; great grandchildren, Autumn and Abigail Vickery of Anderson; brothers, Junior Wilson (Barbara), Freddy Wilson, and Ralph Wilson (Tina) all of Anderson; sisters, Sue Bolt of Anderson and Judy Cullipher (Lawrence) of Raleigh, NC; and special aide, Cherie Swieczkowski. She was also loved by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Don, Howard, Hoyt, Tommy, and Doug Wilson; and sister, Linda Hutchins. The family will receive friends Monday, November 8, 2021, from noon to 1:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Mike Harrell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
