SEAYANDERSON, SCMrs. Barbara Joan Lanford Seay, age 69, wife of Donald Seay of Anderson, went to be with Our Gracious Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 13, 2007. Barbara had a tremendous love for her family who will miss her dearly.Those surviving include her husband, Don with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. Her children she loved with all of her heart, a son, Mike Seay and his wife, Pam of Anderson; a daughter, Vickie Osborne and her husband Mark of Starr. Besides the love of her children, she had a great love for her grandchildren. Those include, Laura Bryant and her husband, Scottie, Chris Skelton, Michael 'Mo' Seay, Candace Dill and her husband Kyle, Erica and Whitney Osborne. Her great grandchildren that held a very special place in her heart are Allison, Joseph and Stephanie Bryant, Bailey and Hannah Skelton, Sydney Speer and Alexis Manley. She is also survived by a sister, Judy Kirby of Spartanburg, SC and a brother, Stan Lanford of Brevard, NC; 2 sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents, H. B. and Frances G. Lanford and an infant brother, Richard.She was a member of Varennes Heights Baptist Church and was a homemaker.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Kirt Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 15, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
