Barbara Ann Rhodes Stanton, age 87, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Born May 26, 1937, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Earl Rhodes and Edith Burdette Rhodes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Stanton; and 6 siblings, J.E. Rhodes, Jr., Bruce Rhodes, Larry B. Rhodes, Kenneth Rhodes, Bonnie Rhodes Smith, and Earlie Hart.

Barbara formerly worked as a weaver with LaFrance Industries. She enjoyed fishing, working in her flower garden, and especially loved her Hostas. Barbara had a kind spirit and loved her family, especially her grandson. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Angie Stanton; stepson, James Stanton; sisters, Virgie Rhodes South and Joyce Rhodes Bowers; grandson, Corey Bailey; great grandchildren, Nevaeh Bailey and Colby Lee Bailey; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Chadrick Jordan officiating.
