Strickland and Alma Majeski Strickland. She was a 1951 graduate of Winthrop College and retired from Duke Power. Mrs. Smith was a member of Ruhamah United Methodist Church.Survivors include her husband, Julian Smith MD, of the home; sister, Sara S. McElhannon of Anderson, SC; brothers: W.H. Strickland of Starr, SC, and Milton Strickland of Anderson, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Mildred S. Creamer.A Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
