Barbara Faye Richey Williams, 78, of Cathedral City, CA, formerly of Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at her residence in California. Born in Anderson, SC on June 24, 1938, she was the daughter of the late William Glenn and Mary Evelyn (Farr) Farrow Richey. She was a homemaker and also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She is survived by her daughter; Teresa Ann Retz (Ron) of Cathedral City, CA, one brother; Terry Michael Richey (Kathy) of Anderson, SC, six grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Williams, one daughter; Donna Jean Powell and one brother; Larry Glenn Richey. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, officiated by a member of The Anderson Ward Bishopric. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Anderson. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
