Barry Norwood Anderson, SC Barry Miles Norwood, age 55, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at his residence. Born in Anderson, SC, on June 24, 1959, he was the son of William Henry Norwood and Jo Ann Norwood. He worked at Crooks and Sons for many years. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughters, Nina Gibbs and her husband Mark, of Greenville, SC and Brandy Norwood, of Maryville, TN; brothers, Scott Norwood and his wife Tess, of Anderson, SC and Will Norwood, of California; a sister, Kelly Phillips and her husband Steve, of Starr, SC; one granddaughter, Carolina Gibbs, of Greenville, SC; and a special child in his life, Amber Stovall. He was preceded in death by a sister, Stesney Turner. The Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Iva City Cemetery. The family will gather for a time of visitation following the service.
