Barry D. Scott ANDERSON, SC Barry Dewaine Scott, age 60 of Whitten Road, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Born in Atlanta, GA on November 30, 1953, Barry was a son of Betty Ann White Scott and the late Leonard Brodie Scott. Barry attended Clemson University and was a former police officer with the City of Anderson. He was currently the owner and operator of Industrial Service Coatings, Inc. and Barry Scott Inc. He is survived by his two sons, Jason Brodie Scott of Anderson, SC and Bradley Dewaine Scott and his wife, Wendy Parks Scott of Fayetteville, WV; his granddaughter, Charlotte Sophia Scott; and his siblings, Jennifer Lynn Scott Smith and her husband, Rev. Thomas Smith, Julie Ann Scott, Stephen Gregory Scott, Maxi J. Cale, and her husband, Michael, Joanna Ruth Scott and Mary Lisa Parchman and her husband, Jim. Following a private family committal service at Ramsey Creek Preserve in Westminster, SC the family will receive friends on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 5:30pm until 7:30pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will be at their respective homes.
