Beatrice Etrulia Skelton Watt
Beatrice Etrulia Skelton Watt, age 85, formerly of McGill Circle, Iva, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 19, 2015.
Born in Anderson, SC, on January 11, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Roy Frank Skelton and the late Aldie Lowie Skelton. She retired from Anesco Manufacturing and Watkins Motor Lines. She enjoyed many things in life, sewing, camping, and singing gospel music, but her passion was her family. Etrulia attended Homeland Park Church of God.
She is survived by her children, Marshall Watt and his wife Linda, Judy Brooks, David Watt and his wife Marie, Delores Hoskins and her husband Palmer, Dean Watt and his wife Sandra, and Kathy Parker and her husband Tommy; three brothers, Edrew, Delano and Glenn Skelton; two sisters, Mary Lyon and Kathryn Feltman; 25 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Domer Mitchell Watt; a sister, Brenda Strickland; and two brothers, A.T. and Fred Skelton.
The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Wendell Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home of her son, Dean, 506 Courtney Drive, and will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service, on Saturday, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
