Becky Harris Lash, 67, of Townville, SC, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, at her sister's home.

Born January 24, 1957, in Richmond, VA, she was a daughter of James Craig Harris and the late Gertrude Smith Harris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James E. Lash and special friend, David Marett.

Following her career as a court reporter for 28 years, she owned and operated Tiger Cove Campground on Lake Hartwell. Becky was a wonderful person. She loved everyone and was forever the caretaker for anyone needing special attention or a friend. She especially loved her sons and grandchildren. Her family and all the many people she met and loved along life's journey will dearly miss her.

Becky leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Brian K. Lash and Travis J. Lash (Margaret); sister, Jean C. Roberson (Stephen); 5 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 12 noon until 1:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the McDougald Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Old Silverbrook Cemetery in the Marrett Section.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Anderson Cancer Association.
