Beford Goodin, Jr., age 93, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021, at Condor Health Anderson. Born July 6, 1928, in Helenwood, TN, he was a son of the late Bedford Goodin and Nancy Foster Goodin. He was married to the late Willene Walters Goodin. Bedford worked in the steel industry employed with Youngtown Steel in Hamond, IN, from 1955-1976 and then with Combustion Engineers in East Chicago, IL, from 1976-1986 from where he retired. He is survived by his son, James Bedford Goodin (Shelby) of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Marilyn Glanowski (Robert) of Anderson, SC; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Goodin; and sisters, Arnie Brooks, Maddie Reagins, and Deloris Lawson. Services will be held in Clinton, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
