TAYLOR August 23, 1907 - August 23, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Belle Crocker Taylor, age 99, wife of the late Alfred C. Taylor, died Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at Oakmont East Nursing Center in Greenville, SC.Born in Abbeville County, SC on August 23, 1907, Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of the late William Daniel Crocker and Synthia Ramsey Crocker. She lived in Anderson on Millgate Road before moving to Greenville. She was retired from the Gallant Belk Department Store in Anderson and was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are two daughters, Betty Taylor Busbin and her husband, Joe Busbin of Greenville and Emily Taylor Silvey of Sandy Springs; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Lee Taylor and a great-grandson, PFC Dillon Jutras. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2006 at 11:30 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. William R. Childs and the Reverend Steven Silvey. Interment will follow in New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 25, 2006 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.The family will be at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Heritage Fund of St. John's United Methodist Church, 515 S.
