JENKINSJUNE 13, 1917 - AuguST 17, 2010 ANDERSON, SC ' Belton Ford Jenkins, age 93, of 3001 Hwy 413, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2010.Born in Anderson, SC, on June 13, 1917, he was a son of the late Belton Ford Jenkins and Roseana Deanhart Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins was a retired professional painter and was a member of Broadway Lake Baptist Church. He was also affectionately known to many as the 'Mayor of Broadway Lake'. Survivors include his wife, Mattie Lou Carver Jenkins; children: Jerry Jenkins and wife, Shirley, Sue Ellen Peace and husband, Calvin, Connie Roberts, Roger Jenkins and wife, Brenda, Kippy Jenkins and wife, Sue, & Keith Jenkins and wife, Dawn, all of Anderson, SC; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.The Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Broadway Lake Baptist Church conducted by the Reverend Early M. Tucker. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home.
