The McDougald Funeral Home2211 North Main StreetAnderson, SC 29621864-224-4343OBITUARY WITH PHOTO Ben Timmerman August 23, 1940 - March 5, 2010Anderson, SC - Bennie Frank Timmerman, age 69, of 2510 Annandale Drive, husband of Peggy Getsinger Timmerman, passed away March 5, 2010, at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Waymon William Timmerman and Ruby Lee Robinson Timmerman. After graduating from Boys High in 1958, he attended Western Piedmont Community College in Morganton, NC receiving a degree in Industrial Engineering. Mr. Timmerman moved to Valdese, NC in 1967 where he worked and retired from Hickory Hill Furniture Company. After his retirement in 2006 he moved back to Anderson Area. He attended New Springs Church.Survivors include his wife of the home, son, Brian Timmerman and his wife Terrie, of Morganton, NC, daughter, Donna Wilson and her husband Craig, of Ringold, GA. three grandchildren: Christopher Timmerman, Nathaniel Timmerman and Jacob Wilson, four sisters, Sarah Drake of Simpsonville, Jean McConnell of Seneca, Frances Thackston of Greenville, and Faye Cantrell of Anderson.In Celebration of his life, a Memorial will be held Monday, March 8, 2010 at 2:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel.Officated by the Reverends Cecil Campbell and Mike Cothran. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
