Ben H. Wilson, 79, Anderson, SC passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. Born May 17, 1938 in Hartwell, GA, he was a son of the late Dock Wilson and the late Cecil Vickery Wilson. Ben had retired as a mechanic for JP Stevens and was a member of Andersonville Baptist Church. He was also a master mason with the masonic lodge. He is survived by his daughters, Gina McIntosh (Jason) of Clemson, SC and Sheron Johnson (Jerry) of Pendleton, SC; brother, Wayne Wilson (Sara) of Anderson, SC and sister, Dartha Wilson of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren, Zac, Luke and Jada McIntosh and Reid Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Waldrep Wilson and brothers, Junior and Hershel Wilson. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday in the chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. David Blizzard officiating. Burial with masonic rites will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
