Benjamin Ryan "Benny" Tillman, 67, of Iva, SC, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born February 8, 1951, in Abbeville, SC, he was a son of the late Johnny Benjamin and Willie C. Truett Tillman. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Benny is survived by his sons, Michael Tillman (Jennifer Peeples), and Justin Jordan; daughters, Cathy A. Tillman, Crystal J. McAlister, Amanda D. McCollum, and Samantha G. Tillman; brothers, JW Tillman, Thomas Tillman, and Billy Tillman; sister, Susie Carter; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; ex-wife and mother of his children, Cathy Leviner. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Friday, May 4, 2018 in the chapel at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Charlie Howell and Helen Davis officiating. Burial will be in Iva City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Red Cross, 904 North Main Street #14, Anderson, SC 29621.
