Bernard E. Pedersen, age 90, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born June 13, 1931, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Peter Bernard Pedersen and Elsie Schurr- Pedersen. Bernard was a veteran of the United States Air Force who retired after serving his country for 20 years including two tours in Vietnam. He was a mason and a gemologist. He is survived by his children, Peter Pedersen of Anderson, SC, and Elsie "Ellie" Pedersen of Fountain Valley, CA; seven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lyn Gilbert; son, Eric Pedersen; and eight brothers and sisters.
