Mr. Bert William Raines, Sr., 87, of 114 Sunnyhill Lane, Anderson, SC passed away on August 19th, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. He was the son of the late Paul and Pinkie Raines born on August 14th, 1928 in Grundy, VA. Mr. Raines was the owner and operator of Bert's Lawn Service and proudly served his country in the United States Army from which he was Honorably Discharged. Mr. Raines is survived by his loving wife: Ruby Taylor Raines of Anderson; two sons: Richard Lee Taylor of Chardon, OH and Bert Raines, Jr. of Anderson, and one daughter: Mary Ellen Harn of Anderson.
