Beryl McConnell Beville, age 92, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at National Healthcare in Anderson. Born in Scott County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Beechard C. McConnell, Sr. and the late Esther Jo Harris McConnell. She was a graduate of Shoemaker High School. She is survived by a son, Bobby Beville, of Anderson; a daughter, Anita Beville Slaughter and her husband Steven Earl Slaughter, of Goodyear, Arizona; two brothers, Beechard C. McConnell Jr., and Bobby Daugherty McConnell; a sister, Doris Pearson; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Bromage, Robert Slaughter, Kayce Beville and Nikki Beville; and four great-grandchildren, Riley, Jackson and Camryn Bromage and Olivia Slaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gordon Beville; and a sister, June McConnell. Private services were held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at The McDougald Funeral Home, burial will follow at McConnell Family Cemetery in Alley Valley, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
