DOVE December 2, 1930 - January 21, 2009ANDERSON, SCMrs. Bettie Ruth Crawford Dove, age 78, wife of William Shannon Dove, Jr., of 364 Lake Secession Road, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Belton, SC on December 2, 1930, Mrs. Dove was a daughter of the late Louie C. Crawford and Nora Lou Ragsdale Crawford. She retired from Cushman Mills, Williamston, SC in 1985 and was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star Lodge #105. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Iva, where she was also a member of the T.E.L.L. Sunday School class.Survivors include her husband, of 58 years, William Shannon Dove, Jr. of the home; brother, Charles Crawford of Walhalla; four nieces and six nephews.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Reuben Crawford and sister, Marie C. Vaughn.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Iva, officiated by the Reverends Jerry Gray and Roger Estridge. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, January 23, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mrs. Dove will be placed in the church at 1:00 pm on Saturday.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Iva, Building Fund, P.O.
