Betty Ann Harbert Herring, age 85, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at her home. Born in Seneca, SC, on January 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late T.S. and Elena Hembree Harbert. She was a member of Homeland Park Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Donna Ann McAlister, Martin Herring, Stanley Alan Herring, and Phillip "Rudy" Herring; a brother, Clarence Harbert; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Marvin Herring; two brothers; and one sister. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend James Strickland and Mr. Phillip K. McAlister officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
