Betty Anderson Barton Anderson, SC Betty Anderson Barton, age 93, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, on August 10, 1921, she was the daughter of the late William Julius Anderson and the late Bessie Stone Anderson. She was a graduate of Girl's High and Anderson College. Betty was a founding member of the Anderson County Woman's Club, a member of the Senior Assembly of Anderson and the Revelers Club. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Barton; and one granddaughter, Julie Harper Barton Haynes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Harleston Barton. On Saturday, January 10, 2015, the family will be at the home of her daughter, 309 North Street, Anderson, SC. The Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Chris Fischer and Reverend Dr. Dennis Tedder officiating. A reception will immediately follow at the home of Julie Barton.
