Elizabeth "Betty" Broadwell, 73, of Anderson, SC passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born May 25, 1944 in Greenwood, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Ouzts and the late Lois Woodard Ouzts. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Monroe Broadwell. Betty was a caregiver with Home Instead Senior Care, a beautician, and formerly employed with Mt. Vernon Mill in Williamston. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons, John "Ken" Broadwell and Jon "Chris" Broadwell (Windy); sisters, Nancy McKittrick, Barbara McKittrick, Linda Cook and Janice Mullinax; 3 grandchildren, Brittany Broadwell, John Daniel Broadwell and Haley Broadwell and one great-grandchild, Raelynn Broadwell. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, January 22, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
