Betty Jean Brock, age 68, of Belton, SC, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born September 18, 1957, in Newport News, VA, she was the daughter of the late Travis Carlton Thompson and Evon McGirt Campbell. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Joann Pamphilon.

Betty was a devoted Christian who had a strong faith and loved the Lord. She was a true caregiver who took care of everyone, especially those in need. She had a compassionate, forgiving heart and loved her animals. She was a faithful member of Belton Church of God.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Brian Brock (Tabitha) of Belton and Jimmy Ray Brock (Leeann) of Honea Path; brother, Carl Thompson (Mary Ashley) of Belton; sisters, June Marie Meredith (Chris) and Lois M. Burdette both of Anderson; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Pastor Norman Black officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
