JOYCE BRYANT May 5, 1933 - February 4, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Betty Joyce Wicker Bryant, age 73, wife of Alvin Lee Bryant of 407 Bowen Street, Anderson, SC, died Sunday, February 04, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on May 5, 1933, Mrs. Bryant was a daughter of the late Robert Wicker and Susie Roper Wicker. She was a self-employed cosmetologist and attended Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church in Anderson.She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Alvin Lee Bryant of the home; daughters, Cathy Shaw, Debra Cowan and Gale Gerrard all of Anderson, SC; brother, Austin Wicker of Belton, SC; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jaime Michelle Shaw and two sisters, Bonnie Wooten and Eloise Shaw. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Brent Lollis. Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 5, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the home of her daughter, Debra Cowan, 1024 Bern Circle, Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional.
