COLLIER December 27, 1934 - September 13, 2012 ANDERSON, SC Betty Joyce Jones Collier, age 77, wife of Kirby D. Collier, Sr., of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2012. Born in Birmingham, AL, she was the daughter of the late Robert Jones and the late Mattie Pearl Speights Jones. Betty graduated from Smith High. She was a homemaker, and later became a bookkeeper. She also worked as an assembler with Robert Bosch/ Autecs. She was a member of Norris Hill Presbyterian Church. In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her sons, Ira B. Collier, II and his wife Sharon L. of Anderson, Kirby D Collier Jr. and his wife Valecia L. of Newnan, GA, Mark A. Collier and his wife Wendy of Newnan, GA; a daughter, Vickie Collier Fennell of Anderson; two brothers, Mike Jones of FL, and Carl Jones of IN; and nine grandchildren, Susan Arwen Collier, Kayla Ann Collier, Benn C. Fennell, Gerold V. Fennell, Kerri Alyse Collier Bendixen, Kirby Donald Collier III, Ira Ben Collier IV, Betty Katherine Louise Collier and Mark Andrew Collier Jr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Ira Benjamin Collier, III. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 22 ,2012 at 2:00 pm at Norris Hill Presbyterian Church with Reverend Mark Horne officiating.
