Betty Lou Holbrook Crisp, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Whitmire, SC, on June 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Lofton Holbrook and the late Geneva Livingston Parton. She worked at the Singer Plant and Ryobi. Betty was a member of North Anderson Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Terry Crisp (Christy), Toni Shaw (Chuck), David Crisp, Donna Siders (Chris) and Tracey Nix; a step-daughter, Deborah King; three brothers, Robert Holbrook, Jack Parton, and John Parton; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Crisp; and a grandson, Jacob Crisp. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Rigsby officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park The family will receive friends on Saturday, before the service, at the funeral home, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Anderson Baptist Church, 2308 North Main Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
